Fr. Ric Lorenzo Fernando, SDB and his Kusina ni Maria Team have been busy! They’ve been handing out bowls of our signature Mingo champorado to members of San Ildefonso Parish, Makati. Parishioners love this piping hot comfort food with extra nutrition from malunggay and monggo. And recently, the Kusina ni Maria team added another item to their menu! They took the Mingo champorado recipe we shared with them and decided to give it a twist. They experimented with another popular flavor of Mingo: ube. Parishioners eagerly line up for their share of lovely purple Mingo ube champorado. They have really taken a liking to this new tasty Mingo treat! Will we be seeing more flavors of Mingo champorado soon?
