What happens when a clan celebrates their patriarch’s 91st birthday with a trip on the Mingoy Food Shuttle, and the matriarch, though limited by her medical condition, gathers all her strength and pops in to join the feeding mission? Three generations of the Teng and Nelia Jacinto family made a journey to the countryside yesterday and it was one big party for close to 200 kids and adults who enjoyed their bowls of Mingo champorado and the gift of love from this family.
Thank you, Jacinto clan, for always being a part of NVC: packing and gifting LoveBags, collecting Nespresso capsules, providing pro bono legal consultation, and feeding Mingo Meals to hungry stomachs near and far.
