Volunteerism knows knows no age and we are glad to have many active youth volunteers. Lucia Eduque was just six years old when she designed cards for NVC to raise funds for its various programs. When she was eight, she graciously allowed NVC to use this painting of hers as an inspiration for crafts. This was a painting she made and dedicated to her parents for their wedding anniversary five years ago. NVC first used this artwork as the inspiration for gorgeous folding tables. This year, we decided to revive this lovely design, this time as nesting tables. These new tables as just as eye-catching as the tables we made before. Thank you Lucia, for the wonderful inspiration!
This collection is called The Marselle, short for Marco and Giselle, Lucia’s parents. Proceeds of the sales of our Artisan’s work go to fund our different Nutrition, Education and Livelihood projects.
