THE Agapp (Aklat, Gabay, Aruga tungo sa Pag-angat at Pag-asa) Foundation Inc. and NVC (Negrense Volunteers for Change) Foundation Inc. turned over 17 classrooms to schools in Negros Occidental and Oriental on Wednesday.
The turnover was headed by President Aquino’s sister and Agapp chair Pinky Aquino Abellada.
The 17 classrooms were realized through the donation of Asian Development Bank, Coca-Cola Foundation and Hanston Commercial and Industrial Corp.
Among the ADB-sponsored schools in Negros Oriental are Cabcaban Elementary School, Ayungon Central School, Dauin Central School, La Libertad Central Elementary School, Macario Española Memorial School, and Jimalalud Central Elementary School.
In Negros Occidental, these are M.J. Escalante Elementary School in Cadiz City, Macario Natividad Elementary School in Hinigaran, Molocaboc Integrated School in Sagay City, Doña Agustina Barrera Elementary School in E.B. Magalona, Paalaalang Paaralan ng Alejandro Ombion in Cauayan, Guinpanaan Elementary School in Moises Padilla, Bocana Elementary School in Ilog, and Daan Banua Elementary School in Kabankalan City.
Other schools are Sta. Cruz Elementary School in Murcia and Purita L. Mora Elementary School in Talisay City, both by Coca Cola Foundation, and La Castellana Elementary School, by Hansto Commercial and Industrial. (TDE)
