Enocencio Tagayong can now fish for a living instead of lining up for food aid in Tacloban, Leyte

Meet Enocencio Tagayong of Brgy 94, San Jose in Tacloban, Leyte. He was among the 50 fishermen who received fiberglass boats through The Peter Project to replace what he lost to Typhoon Yolanda.

After having installed the outrigger as his counterpart, Enocencio has been earning these past three days. On his first day back at sea, he fished 4 kilos of fish and earned P480, and P360 per day on the next two days.

With newfound dignity, Enocencio no longer needs to line up for food aid.
