Huggables of Hope

March 5, 2025

Healing Hugs

Stuffed animal therapy or plush therapy is a therapeutic practice that involves hugging soft plush toys to promote emotional well-being and reduce stress. In January, we began asking people to send us pre-loved (or new) stuffed toys for us to distribute to children at evacuation centers in areas affected by the December 9 Mt. Kanlaon eruption. Click here to read more about our response to the December 9, 2024 Mt. Kanlaon eruption.

Grateful for the Huggables

We are so grateful to all the kind souls who have been sending huggables our way! If you would like to share the love, please email us at [email protected] to get our address. For those in Bacolod, you can drop off your huggables at the accredited drop-off points in the poster. Before the toys are sent to evacuation centers, they undergo a sanitation process to ensure that they are safe for their new owners.
