Meet Nenita Luz, a fisherwoman of Palo, Leyte.
One early morning, Nenita saved up some of her daily catch to offer to us as her gift of gratitude for the fishing boat she received.
We gently told her that we are transients with no means to cook them. But more than that, we reminded her that we are simply conduits of the donations…the ones who truly deserve thanks are the donors, and more especially, the God who inspires people to share their gifts with others.
