Pedro Castor and his family live in Brgy 94, San Jose, Tacloban, Leyte.
Since they received their fiberglass banca on Valentine weekend, Pedro’s wife had been religiously accepting laundry jobs until she earned P3,600–the cost of fishing nets that her husband needed.
Today, while we found Pedro’s son readying the net and other equipment for his father’s trip to sea.
Today, as in the days before, the family expects to earn P360.
Between tears of joy, the family happily shared how different they now feel….from lining up for relief to finally earning with dignity.
We pause to thank God for touching the hearts of Peter Project donors. May you be rewarded a hundred fold.
