Previously unable to find regular work, Edgar and his wife live with his in-laws, using the adjoining little sari-sari store as bedroom by night and living room by day. Because he now earns a good living in our Artisans of Hope livelihood workshop, Edgar is able to make a contribution to the family income. Thanks to the patrons of NVC’s mosaic art at bazaars like Artefino and the Negros Trade Fair, our artisans can now earn at levels a mid-level supervisor would.
