The eruption has displaced at least 26,000 families in the provinces of Batangas and Cavite

according to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Batangas (as of 16 Jan 2020). As with many other disasters all around the country, NVC and its supporters have been quick to mobilize.
