Mingoy, NVC’s food shuttle, went on its first Mingo mission on February 19, 2019–two days after its inauguration. Its maiden voyage was sponsored by the loved ones of NVC member Nelia Jacinto, who was celebrating her 84th birthday.
In Nelia’s honor, Mingoy drove up to Km 84 and reached Brgy. Biniquil, Kabankalan, where we distributed Mingo Meals plus take home packs to 297 children and arroz caldo with pan de sal to 100 adults. Thank you Felix, Reggie, Diego and Andro Barrientos for your gift to your mom and lola!
