Community pantries have sprung up all over the country and NVC has been contributing to several in Bacolod, Silay and Talisay. We’ve been supplying them with fresh produce, dried fish and Mingo. The produce comes from our partner small farmers and the dried fish from Peter Project fishermen. NVC buys all these at fair prices. Mingo continues to be a popular emergency meal among both adults and kids. We’ve been matching donations for Mingo one to one so there’s lots of Mingo to go around!
