NVC Day at the Negros Trade Fair

After an incredibly busy and productive year, NVC hosted a day of thanks for donors, partners, volunteers, and friends on September 26 at the Negros Trade Fair.

 

NVC Thank you Day
On NVC Day, we displayed photos and stories of how our volunteers and donors have made a positive change in the lives of beneficiaries.

 

NVC Day opened with the kickoff of the Start Right, Live Bright Nutrition Program for Rep. Leni Gerona Robredo’s District in Camarines Sur. We endorsed 27,000 Mingo Meals to Rep. Leni.

 

Valued NVC partners
NVC trustees and Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo were joined by partners in various projects: Sec. Armin A. Luistro and Asec Rey Laguda, and Ayala Foundation President Luli Heras de Leon.

NVC also introduced inventive Mingo food items developed by partner cooks, and sold charity Christmas cards for the benefit of undernourished children enrolled in our Start Right, Live Bright nutrition program, who will be receiving Mingo Meals for 6 months.

 

Mingo products - Mingo Puffs and Mingo Power Porridge
We’re now testing Mingo Power Porridge for the elderly, as well as nutritious and delicious snacks: Mingo Salted Caramel Puffs and Mingo Honey Puffs–popular items at the trade fair!

 

Mingo buns, rolls, and muffins
Elsie’s, Chef’s Secret and Sunny Bakeshop created some innovative Mingo products, such as buns and rolls and banana muffins. Mingo’s power ingredients, moringa (malunggay), rice, and monggo (mung beans) provide added nutrition
