NVC Recognized as a Valuable Partner of DOST-FNRI

The Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) recognized us as one of their valuable partners. The award was given during their 75th anniversary celebration on July 1st, 2022 at The Manila Hotel. DOST-FNRI directors Dr. Imelda Angeles-Agdeppa and Milflor S. Gonzales, Ph.D presented the award. They acknowledged our contribution in “addressing malnutrition in the country, creating livelihood opportunities for ordinary Filipinos, and active partnership with DOST-FNRI through the successful adoption of its developed technologies”.

DOST-FNRI has been with us from the very beginning. Our Mingo Meals, the cornerstone of our Nutrition program was based on a recipe developed by them. We tweaked it to be made solely of locally grown ingredients so that we could support the livelihood of our farmers as well. It is a great honor to have been recognized by the institution. We look forward to many more fruitful years of working together with them!
