NVC Foundation Recognized at the Healthy Pilipinas Awards 2023 of the Department of Health

On October 12, NVC Foundation received the Community Service Award at the Galing Pook Awards. Organizers asked us to temporarily turn over the massive trophy made by renowned visual artist Toym Imao so that it could be personalized by the artist.

The Galing Pook Awardees received the trophies once again on October 27. This time, the trophies were presented at the Philippines International Convention Center (PICC), during a special portion of the Healthy Pilipinas 2023 Awards for Partners 2023. At the ceremony, DOH recognized NVC’s contribution in helping Filipinos make better health choices. Our Communications Officer, Angela Mapa (center of photo), represented us that afternoon. She received the trophy from (left to right) Maria Isabelle ‘Beng’ Climaco-Salazar – Galing Pook Selection Committee, DOH Secretary Dr. Teodoro J. Herbosa, MD, Georgina Ann Hernandez-Yang – Executive Director of Galing Pook, Cherrie Atilano – President & CEO of AGREA Agricultural Systems International Inc.
