Three years ago, Suzy Peñalosa and NVC Foundation discovered each other. She immediately embraced NVC as part of her Ora et Labora (prayer and work) lifestyle of a Scholastican.
She followed us religiously on social media so she always knew what we were up to. And she’d often reach out to let us know that she could be of assistance. Aside from her participation in our Mingo Meals nutrition program, she helped us out during our PPE drive in 2020. Our paths constantly crossing every time we met and worked together became like threads overlapping and intertwining to make a tightly-knit fabric. Our latest encounter was when she hosted our Food Security project team in their family farm to broaden the horizons for one of our Farmers of Hope communities.
Today, we can say that Suzy will be a part of NVC’s cause and mission and vision in a bigger way because she joins us officially as our Development Manager. Welcome to the NVC family, Suzy!
