Nice to see you again, ReyJohn

Nice to see you again, ReyJohn

One year ago, ReyJohn was a hungry, unsmiling boy who couldn’t stop eating Mingo Meals (four in one sitting as you can see). We’re back in ReyJohn’s village of Glab in Zamboanga del Sur with a fresh supply Mingo Meals. We don’t know if it’s to us he gave his biggest grin, or if it was for Mingo that he misses so much. Nevertheless, ReyJohn is a changed boy: he has energy beyond just scooping a serving of Mingo, he can smile and show emotion, he speaks with confidence and his eyes express his joy within. What a difference Mingo Meals make!

Mingo Meals halfway to the village of Glab in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. Just a year ago, we searched for this village when we read a newspaper article about one of their children who died of malnutrition. We knew that there would be more like him, and it took us a few weeks to connect and find them, but two months after that story was published we began to feed Mingo to 235 kids daily for six months.
