On the first day of the Christmas season in the Philippines, a truck with 10,000 kilos of good quality rice arrived from our office. The rice came from Rise Against Hunger Philippines. We began distributing rice to the communities we serve. First on the list was Brgy. RSB in La Carlota where we delivered rice to 74 families (bottom left photo). Next, our Fairy Godmother Team gave rice to each of the 105 families living at the Ferlou Relocation Site in La Carlota where NVC recently built 105 homes (bottom middle photo). And on the morning of September 7, the Alianza Corn and Vegetable Association (ACAVA) sent a truck to our office and we loaded sacks of rice onto the truck. The ACAVA community was all smiles when they received their share of rice (bottom right photo).
