Your purchase is a donation that will provide Mingo to undernourished children in the Philippines. This year’s card features art by Barcelona-based artist Nayat Kaid Ferron, who last year donated a banca to a fisherman affected by Typhoon Yolanda. She designed this card, inspired by NVC’s projects, as her continuing contribution to NVC. Each card is priced at P250. We are currently arranging distribution channels in Manila. NVC partners with artists and volunteers who design handcrafted products and train those with few livelihood opportunities to make these. We work with women in rural communities, out-of-school youth, the differently abled, and the urban poor. Our beautiful, handmade products include mosaic tabletops, trays, cheese boards, picture frames, and decorative art, as well as crocheted table linens, bed spreads, throw pillows and Christmas ornaments.
