On the eve of Typhoon Yolanda’s second anniversary, NVC Foundation wishes to report on the initiatives it has undertaken for the people whose lives have been affected by the disaster. We also wish to thank all those who have so generously given their time, talent and treasure to make all these possible.
The Peter Project 2 for fisherfolk hit by typhoon Yolanda is finally at the finish line! When the supertyphoon destroyed thousands boats that spelled the livelihood of Filipino fishermen, we aimed for 100 boats to donate. We now end with over 4,000 boats from more than 700 personal and institutional donors all over the world....
