To NVC’s partners, donors and friends:
Our field officers and staff are currently monitoring the communities that we work with in the areas affected by Typhoon Ruby. In the evacuation centers where we have seen an immediate need for food and medicines, we have coordinated these with corresponding authorities in the respective local government units and DSWD.
We will continue to monitor the conditions in our communities especially after the emergency relief period is over, and determine how we can help them rise again and cope with their second encounter with disaster.
