Vicky Torre has lived in the USA for a long time and to the Philippines last week for a break. She hired car service to take her to the airport and board her flight home. As she pulled out money to pay the driver, he handed her a US$10.00 bill and said, “I have to give you money too. Take this, I hope it can feed soup to a family in your country.”
Vicky came to buy Mingo on the driver’s behalf yesterday, and Mingo cards as well to bring back home to the USA as pasalubong. Meantime, she has signed up to help paint boats on Saturday. Welcome aboard the volunteer banca, Vicky!
