What a difference a boat makes!
From the birth of their first to third sons, Gary and Rhodora lived in a shack that you see under the tree on the right hand side of the photo. In early 2018, the couple received a motorized fishing boat through NVC’s Peter Project. What Gary now earns from his catch, which is then sold by Rhodora, is enough to feed them and provide for the children’s school needs. Plus extra funds for expanding their home with better materials, slowly but surely.
