On February 10, we began construction of the first of 105 homes for families in La Carlota who had lost their homes to Typhoon Tino. Work progressed steadily over five months. and finally, the last house is up. The team will work on finishing touches in the coming days. Though we were not able to find sponsors to give all homes a coat of paint, we are happy that families will soon have homes to call their own.
UPDATE: The homes were turned over to the LGU on July 7 and on August 15, the LGU will turn over the homes to the families.
