Mikel Lovina’s family and friends comes through once again! The 22-km Mikel Lovina Jamborun held on February 3, 2019 commemorated the passing of Mikel Lovina, who was only 18 when he died in a car accident. Started as a family fun run in 2013, it’s become a yearly tradition and has now evolved into a fundraising event for charity. This is the second year that the Jamborun proceeds have been allocated for the people NVC serves.
The results are in! Runners and supporters raised a total of 534 LoveBags and 2,800 Mingo Meals for Filipino children in need. Watch this video posted by Mikel’s sister Ines, produced by Rafi Silero.
