We love how Vena Energy not only produces renewable energy but feeds kids so that they will be healthy and full of energy! This is our third year of our partnership with Vena Energy for Negros Occidental and Ormoc. Two years ago, they also began feeding children in Bukidnon.
Through the years, so many kids in Vena Energy’s project sites have graduated from malnutrition. One of them is four-year-old Mariel. Along with 149 other kids from Brgy. Dolores, Ormoc, she was enrolled in our daily Mingo Meals Feeding Program for six months. After just 3 months into the program, Mariel reached normal weight for a child her age.
In October 2021, young Joel (below), who is severely underweight, also got the chance to graduate from malnutrition. He and 399 other children were recently enrolled in the daily Mingo Meals nutrition program for one year.
