We’ve just delivered 196,210 MingoMeals to the Department of Health (DOH), Western Visayas based in Iloilo. Thank you DOH for thinking of the children who need to start right and live bright!
Iloilo is not new to Mingo. Since 2014, NVC has been sending Mingo Meals across the waters to Iloilo. Majority of the meals were sponsored by the Provincial Health Office of the Iloilo Provincial Government. Other meals were sent by private donors or groups such as SHOM through the Angat Buhay program of the OVP and Metrobank Foundation. With the help of Mingo Meals, the province managed to slash undernutrition in the province from 38% in 2000 to 3% in 2019.
This new drop of Mingo Meals will help fill many hungry stomachs in the region.
