Priyasha (left in inset photo) and Anagha (right) Chakravarti are twins who turned 17 in September. Both in Grade 11 at the International School Manila, they asked for no gifts for themselves. Instead, they asked for contributions to NVC’s LoveBag project from their friends (in larger photo), which provides backpacks filled with school supplies to children of Filipino indigenous people.
The twins first heard of LoveBags through Abram, our Young Ambassador, who has raised funds for this project for two school years now. We are inspired by the ripples created by Abram’s mission, and we truly admire the twins’ selfless love and concern for those who have less.
